Hello, I'm Tom Gabbutt and I'm a writer & producer of digital short films; predominantly corporates, commercials and web promos. As a freelance writer & producer, I work in-house with agencies and production companies, on a range of video projects, for many different platforms.

I'm a highly experienced, resourceful and creative film & video professional, and I've worked for over 15 years in high-end broadcast TV & Film production for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and the UK Film Council amongst many others.

My CV has shows as diverse as "Later With Joolz" and "Top Of The Pops"; ground-breaking Brit dramas "This Life" and "Queer As Folk"; prime-time drama series "Midsomer Murders" and "Footballers’ Wives", and feature films "Shakespeare In Love" and Danny Boyle’s "Millions".

For the past few years now, I've embraced the creative opportunities that have opened up with new digital production workflows, and brought my extensive broadcast TV experience to create stunning corporate films for social media campaigns, online promotions and branded content productions.

From initial creative concept and scripting; to managing all types and scales of productions; to final post, digital SFX and delivery, I'm a complete, all round producer, who balances the demands of creative video production with a thorough understanding of scheduling, budgeting and compliance.
